Sudan Electricity Company issues a statement

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Sudan Electricity Company announced the death of two of the company’s work team, following an electric key explosion that caused the power outage at Sennar’s manufacturing station.

A statement issued by the company said today (Friday) that it mourns with great sadness and sorrow, technicians (Saif Al -Din Dafallah) and (Al -Munshid Ahmed), who were martyred during their performance of their national duty at the “Sennar Transformation Station”.

According to the statement, the tragic accident occurred while the technicians were trying to restart the 110 transport line, which caused the feeding of a number of states (the Blue Nile, Sennar, Al -Qadarf, Al -Jazeera, the White Nile and North Kordofan) that suffers from power outages due to this holidays.

The statement pointed out that a sudden electrical contact led to the explosion of the main key to the calligraphy, causing severe burns to the colleagues.

The statement pointed out that the martyr Saif Al -Din pushed life at the site of the accident, while the vocalist Ahmed was transferred to the hospital for treatment, but he was martyred as a result of grave burns.
