Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Division of International Transport Services and Logistics in the Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria, in Egypt, announced that it had received an official signal from the internal and international land transport regulation, which is affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Transport, which included a clear warning and an urgent alert about the movement of Egyptian drivers inside Sudanese lands.
She said that this is in light of the directives of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in cooperation with the competent Sudanese authorities.
In his website, the agency affirmed from Eng. Diaa El Din Mustafa Youssef – CEO of the internal and international land transport regulations, the need to fully adhere to the controls and instructions specified by the national authorities in the State of Sudan, especially with regard to following up the weights and organizing the move inside Sudan in order to preserve the safety of Egyptian drivers and avoid their exposure to any possible dangers or threats.
According to the directions received, the Egyptian drivers movement was decided on the “northern state only”, specifically within the scope of the cities of Wadi Halfa and two and two, with the ban on entry to the rest of the Sudanese cities in the current stage.
Eng. Medhat Al -Qadi – Head of the International Transport Services Division and logistics at the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce said that the division is closely following the implementation of these instructions in cooperation with the companies working in the field, and is generalizing the directives to all members to ensure full commitment to them.
He stressed the importance of coordination with the concerned authorities to protect Egyptian drivers abroad.
He said that this procedure comes within the framework of the full concern of the state on the safety of its children working in the international land transport sector, while emphasizing the need for all companies and drivers to adhere to the instructions issued and avoid any violation that may be at risk.
