How do you evaluate the health situation in Khartoum after the outbreak of the cholera?

As for the epidemiological situation, there is the outbreak of the cholera epidemic during the last week after receiving in a previous period, for reasons, including: the openness that occurred in a mountain of guardians and a valid that caused areas that were not prepared from the health of drinking water and even those who were present in those areas were in a bad health situation with malnutrition and their suffering increased after cholera, and during the last weeks the epidemic appeared less when the openness occurred in a mountain For him, but currently in the Al -Salih area, the numbers have increased significantly and doubled during the last week.

Are there treatments?

We thank the state of Khartoum, especially for the level of water sources, the provision of good drinking water, and the water of water, as well as food control and the closure of some street vendors.

There is also a direct work on the issue of treatment, as a number of United Nations organizations were contacted and more than 10 treatment centers have been opened with a capacity of 800 beds so that we can absorb all cases.

The level of interventions that we saw and the provision of medicines is 150 tons of drugs in which all basic drugs are sufficient for the coming period and the interventions of organizations contributed very significantly, especially the World Health Organization, doctors without borders and childhood care.

Are there accurate statistics about the epidemic of injuries and deaths?

Average of 200 cases two weeks ago and increased to 1000 cases in recent days and deaths by 3%.

In general, how do you evaluate the health conditions in the capital Khartoum after completely liberating them?

The health conditions in the state of Khartoum are moving towards the best. It is true that there is an invoice that pays the result of return immediately after the liberation, and therefore we say safe return because there are some required arrangements at the region level, such as: environmental health, risk removal, and combating diseases. These arrangements are working on it as a health ministry with the executive bodies in the state of Khartoum and the executive departments, the return of water and electricity in a large way that can facilitate the lives of citizens and also facilitate our health interventions in a safe way, but safely, the health status of the capital is going better after the liberation of the entire state of Khartoum.

Is there a advice that it gives to citizens with the great return witnessed in the state of Khartoum?

It must be returned because it is the beginning of reconstruction and rehabilitation, but you need arrangement and caveats in some of the sites that we mentioned above, in which there may be special risks that have witnessed war operations that have lasted for a long time. Consequently, Khartoum State is working to remove these risks, and we are working in the Ministry of Health to create a healthy environment and other ministries and prepare the sites so that the return is safe in the next stage.

Are there international bodies that have shown health after the country has approached full liberation?

Throughout the last period, even before the liberation of Khartoum, there were organizations to help and what they were cut off. But after liberation, security and peace, we want to turn support to support development projects and rebuild the health system, medical devices and equipment, rehabilitate hospitals and build hospitals in a modern style, which is the stage that we seek and seek with supportive bodies and agencies. But what is related to supporting the response, emergency, and the health of mothers and children. These projects support regularly from a number of United Nations agencies and international supporters, for example, supporting the cholera vaccination campaign with more than 12 million doses, and a million doses of the state of Khartoum were ratified after the last epidemic. Also supported malaria control by more than 16 million, at a cost of $ 60 million a mosquito to 14 states, and the campaign will be launched from the Blue Nile State today.

Tell us about your participation in Geneva and the most prominent understandings that have been supported in Sudan?

Participation in the General Assembly of the World Health Organization in Geneva was very important for us for several reasons, including: We are in a articulated stage between ending the rebellion and ending the rapid and urgent response stage for the stage of rebuilding Sudan, and we have very large projects, and therefore international donors had to meet on the presentation of this issue, and we also worked on Sudan this year in the forum witnessed by more than 200 participants and participated in the director of the World Health Organization and the director. The regional and representatives of the countries of the Sultanate of Oman, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as a number of international organizations, and reflected in the situation of Sudan and health needs, and this event came out with a voice support for Sudan in health, especially with regard to the health of mothers and children and the fight against epidemics, and witnessed a large number of bilateral meetings with health ministers in sister countries and managers of international organizations and agencies, as discussions have also taken discussions with the health ministers in Egypt and Qatar And Russia as well as a number of supporting associations such as Bill Gates, Carter and another.

Is there a comprehensive plan to advance health in the state of Khartoum by creating a health situation?

Three months ago, we gathered all health directors in the states and planning managers in the states, and we worked to prepare the directives of a strategic plan for the next stage. We promised the first stage of the strategic plan for a year and a second stage of 5 years and another 10 years, and we worked on the requirements, and we set a great strategic goal that is to reach justice in the treatment and medical services of Sudan in all localities and rural areas. Achieving justice is the only motivation for making a strategic plan for health and we have finished the first version and we are currently working on teams and work committees to deliver it to its final stage so that it is a draft work.
