A decision to postpone the Sudanese certificate exams

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Al-Tohamy Al-Zain, the Minister of Education, announced the postponement of the Sudanese certificate exams for the year 2024 AD to July 28, 2025 so that the states can work on completing the curricula at an appropriate time.

He said during his talk on the platform of the official spokesman of the Ministry of Culture and Information organized by the Sona, that the decision came after a study and a discussion with the committee of examination of the exams that were formed after the completion of the previous exams correction and the states were addressed to know the coverage of the materials for the third grade, and from here the decision was issued.

Al -Tohamy invited the teachers to unify the visions and efforts and overcome the differences for the Sudanese student. He pointed out that the educational process in the past years faced many challenges that have caused the disruption of the study for long and sporadic periods, adding that the ministry worked to face challenges and strive to secure the educational process in Sudan.

“We put the political trends aside, and we agreed that education is a profession and a message for students,” Al -Tohamy said.

Pointing out that the ministry aims for a good, fair, flexible education, and that the strategic goal is to provide a comprehensive and fair education based on scientific development and ensure that the basic needs are met and the elimination of gender discrimination as well as free education.

He pointed to the importance of training teachers and there are strenuous efforts to return school courses so that students are concerned about the bad habits that are now practicing.

Al -Tohamy stressed that the ministry distributed the textbook in all the states of Sudan in the new curriculum from first to fifth grade, and that the teachers’ training plan is the ministry’s priorities for the coming period.
